Pioneers & Entrepreneurs: French Immigrants in the Making of L.A., 1827-1927
This educational exhibit, featuring 70 historical images & documents & a site-specific, 3-D installation created by architect Florencia Pita & SCI-Arc, reveals the contribution of the French to L.A.’s urban development at the very beginning of the city’s history. Also included in the exhibition is a contemporary dialogue by video artist Pascale Lafay with the French legacy of this city.

Chantal Akerman: Moving Through Time & Space
